The thing I loved about the pushchair from the offset was the enormous basket at the bottom, easily 3 times bigger than I have been using, I am thrilled I can get a decent sized shop in the bottom, hooray no more being overloaded with bags whilst pushing the baby, and amazing for family days out when everyone has coats, bags and picnics that want carrying.
It’s brilliant that the pushchair can be used from birth up to 4 years. A matching carrycot is available but as the seat can lie nearly flat new babies can use it safely too, big thumbs up for having less equipment to store. Now to test the all important foldability-this was simple to operate with a pull switch and collapse, the motion itself was swift but took me a couple of times to manage it with the seat on. It’s folded size is quite large but wheels can be removed to fit it in the car if you have a small boot like me. The seat height is adjustable with a sliding mechanism so she can be lowered as needed. It was lovely and smooth to push, turned well and managed kerbs with ease. To clean the harness straps: surface wash only with mild soap and a damp cloth. Do not immerse the harness straps in water, doing so may weaken the straps. We have all been here, as shopping for a car seat is a tough thing to do and to make the right decision about which is the best option to protect your child. There are so many choices and so it makes it even harder to select one. However, no matter what car seat you select, if it is for a newborn or for the next generation, the important thing is that you do proper research and then select what is best suited for you and your child. The most important thing after all is to follow the installation instructions carefully so the car seat can be properly used and offer optimum safety level. There are lots of extra features to bear in mind when choosing a travel system. Most travel systems have a compact fold to fit your boot. Look out for models with one-hand or one-push folding systems—they’ll make sure you always have a hand free for baby. Some models will include a changing bag or shopping basket for baby’s essentials, or a canopy for shade. And in the UK a travel system that comes with a raincover is always a good choice!
