Guel's characterization is similar to Kyouichi Saionji from Revolutionary Girl Utena, as both of them are shown to be temperamental and egotistic. Two things that irked me little bit with this model was that the horn on the helmet is a little loose (though you likely won't be touching it that often after building the kit), and the spear weapon slides a little in its hands so it's hard to pose it with the spear upright. Through his concern for friends and loved ones, it is implied that he always had such traits of a good person, however, his reliance on his own hight skills and position eventually led to the fact that by the time he first met Suletta, his perception of honor turned into arrogance [2] [2].The refusal of his family to support him and the painful losses to Suletta and Elan returned his moral compass, forcing him to remember the true meaning of honor again and pay new attention to the people around him [3]. Battle Couple: Suletta and Miorine are technically one in this episode, even if Miorine doesn’t currently plan on following through with the engagement.He was initially a unusually arrogant, insulting and narcissistic bully [7] [8] [3]. However, after he stopped recieving funds from Vim and assumed the identity of "Bob", he became noticeably more sensitive to others' experiences, and his selfishness became replaced with willingness to help other people [9] [5]. At the same time, he develops melancholy tendencies as Guel continues to feel the burden of responsibility for the future of his family and the death of his father [2].
