Reading the 1-star reviews is just so funny because so many of them were like, "if you take out the smut you have no plot. Considering this, she contined to chat with him while sleeping with Garret and even accepting a gift from him. It's was the character connection for me that made a world of difference between the first book and this one. The personal growth of Garrett and Mia was phenomenal and I loved how it transformed their relationship as a couple.This book has a lot of themes, which Sara details before it begins, and I just wanted to say how well written it is <3. I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older and I’m becoming more comfortable experiencing things outside of my comfort zone and experimenting with things that I was previously closed off to, whether that is in books or in my own personal life. It’s seriously, one of the most debilitating chronic illnesses, not just in mental health but in the entire gamut. They decided to wait before having kids for at least a year because Garrett knew he needed to work on his mental health.

The book was fun but the taboo element of the step siblings aspect of the story didn't really show in the writing, or at least I could feel it. Because it's real, mental health issues never truly go away and I love seeing Mia help him and acknowledge that everyday isn't sunshine and rainbows but they still love and support each other despite it. Superficial characters with no distinguishable personality traits other than voyeur and exhibitionist.So I have to start off by saying the first book in this series 'Praise', unfortunately did nothing for me. He can't stop himself from talking to her through a private chat and now he is too curious to make it a one-time thing.

Overall a satisfying read that gave me everything I love from steamy kink to adorably sweet to emotionally riveting. The hero also has some weird rhetoric about possessivenes and judging other men for not being ok with their women being a cam girl (probably the author's way of making him ok with her job as a cam girl) but that goes out the window when she tries to make him jealous of other men.You do not want to miss Mia and Garrett’s journey from enemy step-siblings to each other’s perfect match! Then Garrett decides to come to the family cabin for the first time in years and there is this crazy new chemistry between them. But what starts as some peeping in on each other and hate-sex interactions is quickly leading to BIG feelings.
