About this deal

It’s easily adjusted for use at different angles and, once you get the hang of the trigger system for clamping bikes into the stand, it’s secure. If you have hydraulic brakes on your bike, the fluid will run down when the bike is hung, so we advise pumping the brakes a few times when you take the bike off the rack if it’s been there for a while.

If i need it higher, I have a Park bike stand that I can use, since most of my ebikes are small wheels(16" and 20"), they are not that heavy. When the pads are soft and clean and hold the bike nicely from being able to rotate, it's generally better on the paint to not use the rag. As you've found, there are lots of DIY solutions which may suit your needs however, you asked about repair stands so I will comment on the 2 I use daily: Park PCS-10 and Bike Hand YC-100BH (produced under many names). During the ebike pick up process I realised that there are things I now need to start thinking about that are ‘ebike’ specific. While Feedback has vastly improved the clamp over older designs, the fact that it clamps the seatpost at the sides holds it back, as does the fact it isn't friendly with aero seatposts.

The Topeak PrepStand Pro and the Bike Hand YC-100BH also have easily adjustable clamp angles, but both employ a circular ring of plastic teeth that engage and disengage when the knob at the back of the clamp arm is loosened and tightened.

One thing that came to mind was the stand I have for lifting the rear wheel of my bike for washing and lubing the chain on my analogue bikes. I go over all the things you need to consider below, and then I recommend some of the best (and worst) repair stands I've come across at the end of the article. Installing a Steadyrack is easy for anyone with basic DIY skills; no need to hire anyone to do the job! And unless you’re using it every day with lot’s of different bikes, in reality, you probably don’t need the big buck, professional models! This is much more noticeable the the Bike Hand stand where the Park has only been an issue when I have my DH ebike (w/ front mounted batteries) clamped to or by the seat post and so it is completely horizontal. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.

We recommend the Bikehand E Bike Repair Stand as it is designed for the maintenance of heavier e-bikes. Advanced Fine Adjustment Clamp】 With its upgraded design, the micro-adjust clamp boasts a 360-degree rotation, sturdy quick-release ratchet.Simply lever your eBike onto its back wheel by locking the back brake, then slowly walk the bike backwards. And it should also provide a more elegant user experience, which is important if you’re lifting bikes in and out of the stand every day. My preference is the Park as it is a much better stand, my only complaint would be the clamp is quite big and would prefer to have the micro clamp like on their PRS-25 to get into the small place on some bikes.
